P.S. Don't stir anything! Just layer it and pop it into the oven!

I do the same but instead of peaches, I use a layer of a can of blueberry pie filling and a layer of pineapple chunks...drained of its liquid... OH, it's good. However, I remember having not much success up here in BB..... Didn't crisp up enough. Felt it was to do with the altitude. Anyone up here in BB have any comments about that? Perhaps I should try again....

This recipe is almost exactly what we do in a dutch oven when camping. We use only 1 can of peaches, syrup and all, not 3 cans. We also use real butter, not margarine. We do sprinkle a little cinnamon on it too. I use a small dutch oven, with about 5-6 briquets on the bottom, twice that on the lid. I turn the whole oven 1/4 turn every 15 minutes and rotate the lid the same. about 1 hour or 1 1/2 hours it is done to perfection.

ok, cobbler challenge= 1 cup bisquick, 1 cup sugar, 1cup milk, 1 teasp. cinnamon. Mix together , Melt 1/2 cup butter in baking dish. Pour bisquick mixture over butter. Drain any canned fruit, pour into bisquick mixture, bake at 350 degrees untill golden brown. For diabetics use Splenda in equal amounts as sugar.
